This museum offers changing exhibitions of art and history, public programming, lectures and gallery talks by artists and scholars, workshops and classes for children and adults, summer Art Camp, Super Saturdays, Traveling Trunk exhibits, and docent guided tours, by appointment.

Selected works of D. M. Bates, a Lufkin based artist, will be exhibited at the Museum of East Texas from February 16 through May 25, 2010. The Museum will host an Opening Reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2010. All are welcome to attend.
