TOURISM IN LUFKIN The importance of travel and tourism on Lufkin and Angelina County’s economy will be highlighted during local activities to recognize National Tourism Week, May 10– 18, 2008. “Discovering Great East Texas Traditions” will be the bureau’s theme this year to educate citizens and city officials about the positive impact travel and tourism has on the local economy. |
